The Food Fest - 2024
The Food Fest 2024, which took place on 15th February 2024, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at the Main Canteen of our university. The event, designed for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year English medium students of the Department of English, aimed to enhance practical English skills by having students prepare some simple food items representing English culture. Participants not only showcased their culinary talents but also demonstrated their proficiency in English by explaining ingredients and providing a step-by-step guide in the language. The initiative not only reinforced the practical use of English but also familiarized students with food-related vocabulary and phrases across various contexts. We commend the students for their enthusiasm and congratulate them on successfully blending language learning with the joy of cooking during this engaging and educational event.
