Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka
The Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka is delighted to announce that the university has won the First Place (1st Place) in Best Annual Report & Accounts Awards 2020 organized by the Association of Public Finance Accountants of Sri Lanka ( APFASL ), the Public Sector Wing of CA Sri Lanka in the University category, and the First runner up in the Public Sector Category. The award ceremony was held on 22 nd February at the BMICH under the patronage of State Minister of Money, Capital Markets and State Enterprise Reforms Ajith Nivard Cabraal, and Secretary to the Treasury S. R. Attygalle. The awards were given under nine categories classified under Ministries, Departments, Universities, Non- Commercial Statutory Boards, Research Institutions, Provincial Councils, Municipal Councils, Urban Councils and Pradeshiya Sabhas.
The Public Sector Best Annual Reports & Accounts Awards by APFASL is an important initiative aimed at helping improve the quality of annual reports and accounts issued by public sector organizations to help enhance transparency and accountability within the sector, while also promoting the underlying need to develop high quality financial reporting.
