Second Session of the Tenth Series of the 'Preaching the Dhamma in English' Programme
The Department of English at the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka successfully conducted the second session of the tenth series of its "Preaching the Dhamma in English" programme on 29th August 2024, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am, for first-year English medium students. The session featured a lecture by Ven. Prof. Gonadeniye Pannarathana Thero from the Department of Pali, titled "Introduction to Buddhist Terminology in English and Their Usage," which provided foundational knowledge on key Buddhist terms in English, alongside practical insights into their contextual application.
