Second Session of the Ninth Series of the 'Preaching the Dhamma in English' programme Department of English
The 2nd session of the 9th series of the 'Preaching the Dhamma in English' programme took place on September 8, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Sri Vipulagnana Daham Nikethan, Embulgama. Ven. Kotapola Kalyanvihari Thero, a dedicated meditation practitioner and the resource person of this programme delivered an insightful lecture titled “Essential Features of a Dhamma Sermon and Aligning it with the Teachings of the Buddha," which was followed by a brief meditation session. The programme witnessed the active participation of first-year English medium students and the staff of the Department of English.
