Book Donation Program for an Underprivileged School – 2025
To commemorate the 42nd anniversary of the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, the External Students’ Union organized a special book donation Programme on June 24, 2025, at Ehatugaswewa Maha Vidyalaya in Mullaitivu.
As part of the Programme, approximately 1,500 books were donated to the school library. School supplies, sports equipment, and electrical appliances were also provided to the students, and lunch was offered to all the children.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the founder of the Sri Shakya Putra Foundation and Chief Sanghanayaka of the Northern and Eastern Province, Venerable Galgamuwe Santhabodhi Thero, as well as the dedicated supporting staff, for their invaluable assistance in making this event a success.
Prof. Nilantha P. Dissanayake, the non-academic staff of the Buddhist and Pali University and 65 undergraduate (External) students were participated for that event.
