The Council of the University

This is the executive board and the ruling body of the University.

The Vice Chancellor is a member as well as the Chairman of the Council.

The council consists of

• All wardens of faculties
• The representatives of the Senate
• The Secretaries of the Ministries that are in charge of the subjects of Buddha Sasana and Higher Education or their nominees, and
• Tthe members appointed by the Minister of Higher Education.

The Council of our University consists of 15 members. The majority of them are monks.
