Divisions

The library is well organized by dividing into major divisions according to the Broad subject. Disciplines with a view to build up the collection along with developments of the facilities of the university. All relevant documents are allocated at the divisions with a separate entity for convenience of the users. Periodicals are maintained as a separate section for easy retrieval of the resources.

Major sections are as follow:

• Buddhist Philosophy & Buddhist Culture division
• Archeology division
• English language & Literature division
• Languages division (Sinhala, Pali & Sanskrit)
