Syllabus of Pāli Language & literature for Internal students
Bachelor of Arts (General Degree) Course
(Introduction to new Pāli syllabus
of Course unit System, activated since the year 2011)
Three main subjects should be studied to complete the Bachelor of Arts (General) Degree Course. 30 credits should be obtained for one subject, and at least 90 credits for three subjects within three years. The Pali and Buddhist Philosophy or Buddhist Culture are compulsory subjects.
The other should be selected from the following subjects.
- Archaeology,
- Religious Studies and Comparative Philosophy,
- Sinhalese,
- Sanskrit,
- English.
