Assignments

Each year, two assignments in relation to the papers followed by the student should be handed over to the department. The topics relevant to the papers are prepared by the Department and noticed. The first assignment is noticed before the end of the first term and the second is noticed before the end of the second term. The deadlines of the first and the second assignments are the end of the second term and the third term respectively. Twenty marks will be given for the assignments (10 each) and these marks will be added to the final examination marks.

Conferences

Special annual conferences are organized related to Buddhist Culture with the participation of local and foreign scholars.

Special lectures

Special lectures related to Buddhist Culture conducted by the eminent scholars in Sri Lanka are intended for improving student's knowledge of their subjects.

Study tours

An annual field trip is organized for the students to study the Art and Architecture of Sri Lanka.
