Explain the order of the subjects.
If you are selected for the university, you are not permitted to change the subjects and the medium of study that you selected for your entrance after two weeks of registration.
- 16. The signature and the date should be placed after reading and understanding the statement of the applicant (No 16). All the candidates should be informed that the applications without signature or date or both will be rejected. Thus, all the candidates are advised to re-check whether they have placed both the signature and the date before posting and submitting the application.
- 17. The candidates who sat A/L examination from schools, and pirivens should get their application certified by principals and chief-cumbents respectively.
- 18. The signature of the private candidates should be certified by somebody mentioned in No. 18.
- 19. All the candidates are thoroughly advised to re-check whether they have correctly completed the application before posting or submitting their applications as incompleted applications which do not complete the information asked from No- 01 to 25will be rejected.
- 20. As the applications received after the deadline will be rejected, the applicants or advised to send their applications on or before 17.09.2010.
- 21. The hostel facilities will be provided for all the Bikkhu students who are selected. Further information could be obtained from the Assistant Registar.(Academic and Students’ affairs).
- 22. Mahapola or Bursary will be given to all the selected and qualified Bikkhu/ lay students. Information on these could be obtained from the Assistant Registar.(Academic and Students’ affairs). The applicants who expect to obtain/ receive Mahapola/ Bursary should have completed the due qualifications and be entitled to relevant rules and regulations.
- 23. The information on the registration of students should be obtained from Assistant Registar.(Academic and Students’ affairs).
- 24. The students should know that, a student’s registration will be repealed and without all the privileges eliminated, if it is revealed at the point of applying that the applicant has already registered in another higher education institute.
(University functioned under the University Grant Commission/ Buddhashravaka Buddhist University/ College of teachers, etc.)
- 25. The students for the university entrance in 2011, will be selected according to the results of the A/L examination conducted in 2009. The students will be recruited based on the recruitment directives of the University Grant Commission.
- 26. The duly completed applications should be sent by registered post on or before 17. 09.2010.

- 27. It should be considered compulsory to produce your certificates to the university when the candidates are informed to produce the original copies of the certificates that are mentioned in the application, for it is after checking the educational qualifications that the registration is done. After that you will be informed to pay the registration fee.
- 28. No any payment should be done with the application. But the photocopies of the educational qualifications should be attached and sent along with the applications.
- 29. Certifying the signatures of the applicant.
All the students should get their signature certified by one of the following.
A principal of a pirivena, A chief incumbent, any religious priest, principal, Gramaseva Niladhari, Justice of Peace or as staff official of government, Local government or State Cooperations who earns a salary not less than Rs 86,700 annum.
