Ven. Prof. Ittademaliye Indasara Thero

The Venerable Vice Chancellor is the chief executive and chief academic officer of the University. He is a member of the Council, which is the executive and ruling authority of the University and of the Senate, which is the Board of academic authority. He chairs both bodies.

The Venerable Vice Chancellor is entrusted with the task of implementing or with the responsibility to ensure the implementation of the decisions reached by the Council regarding the administration of the University and the decisions the taken by the Senate regarding its academic affairs.

The present Vice Chancellor of our University is the Venerable Professor Ittademaliye Indasara Thero.
